Create a Safer Community Together
Support safe neighborhoods and communities by creating a shared sense of responsibility for public safety and fostering trust with and among diverse communities.
To tell the story of this goal, we have shown data to set the stage and provide context followed by the objectives of this goal with their corresponding initiatives.
With Emergency Communications as the primary answering point, public safety is enhanced through joint community-centered approaches managed by the Fire Department, the Police Department, and the Community Safety Department. Levels of staffing and levels of crime are measures used to ensure that the City is implementing a holistic approach to enhancing overall safety.
