Pavement Condition Index (PCI)
Pavement Condition Index (PCI) at 65 for residential streets and 75 for arterial and collector streets. The target Pavement Condition Index (PCI) is set by the City Council.
Public Works began a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) update under contract ST-287 Paver PCI Survey. The new PCI ratings are expected to be completed by summer of 2019.
Public Works is making use of pavement preservation methods to stretch the available paving funding and lower the overall cost of maintaining streets. These actions allow more streets to be addressed per year, increases the overall street network condition, and raises the average PCI.
